Product Overview

The hot cathode ionization gauges of the product series BARION® determine pressures between fine vacuum and ultra-high vacuum. Especially the BARION® extended is noteworthy since it is able to measure the pressure down to an extreme ultra high vacuum. In general, VACOM's Bayard-Alpert sensors are equipped with a wide measuring range. This makes them particularly suitable for the use in research and development processes, which require a measurement in the low pressure ranges. VACOM uses exclusively yttria-coated iridium filaments which are characterized by high stability and emission. BARION®basic II and pro II can be converted easily to an active sensor by the  electronic VaX linkB.
