OFD extendedResulting from the high requirements of our customers in cutting-edge research, our brand new optical fiber feedthrough OFD extended was developed. With our adhesive-free hermetically sealed and low outgassing optical fiber feedthrough, you are well prepared to use optical metrology under demanding conditions like high temperature and high radiation exposure as well as low pressure in XHV range.

Our complete in-house manufacturing allows for a flexible choice of the optical fiber; we customize it to your needs. Additionally, the position and number of optical fiber feedthroughs per flange can be completely customer-adapted as well. The optical interface is individually suited to your application. Therefore, OFD extended becomes an indispensable optical interface for demanding optical applications in the XHV range.

  • High-temperature load capacity (bakeable up to 250 °C)
  • High robustness against radiation exposure (10 MGy for 1 ½ months)
